Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actress who has become well-known for her portrayal of strong, yet vulnerable character. Linney is a member of a theatrical family her father was a playwright and writer Romulus Linney. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) located in New York City in 1990. In 1990, she began appearing on Broadway immediately, eventually receiving the acclaim she received for her performances as a part of Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) as well as Hedda Galer.
